Bradley Centre Manager 

 

Our vibrant and expanding Seniors’ Centre seeks a Manager responsible for co-ordinating member activities and managing facility rentals. Must enjoy seniors, have excellent verbal, written and online communication skills, and the ability to effectively work with volunteers.

Job Title: The Bradley Centre Manager

Reports To: The Bradley Centre Board of Directors
The Bradley Centre is an independent Canadian Charity.
Manager will attend monthly Board of Director meetings and present a monthly report.

Job Scope:

Manager is responsible for consistency and continuity of activities at The Bradley Centre.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Co-ordinate bookings for Bradley Centre’s Member Programs and events

  2. Manage room rentals to community groups, organizations, and individuals

  3. Handle membership, program, donation, and rental monies together with the Treasurer

  4. Integrate communications for Bradley Members, programs, rentals and the community

  5. Orchestrate volunteers and volunteer activities

  6. Supervise paid personnel and contract companies

  7. Oversee regular building maintenance

  8. Represent The Bradley Centre in the District 69 community

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education or experience that includes working with groups and volunteers as well as project or event management and seniors’ recreation.
Dynamic oral, written and online communication skills.
Proficient with social media platforms.

Friendly, outgoing interpersonal skills to support a culture of community at The Bradley Centre. Certification in Food Safe, CPR and Defibrillator or willingness to take these courses.

Working Conditions:
A new part-time position at The Bradley Centre that may expand into a full time position. Beginning at 20 hours per week, varied and flexible hours including weekends and evenings. Starting at $20.00 per hour.
